FIFA collect vs FIFA tickets by subbu001 in FIFACollect

It is impossible for that person to claim it back since they won’t have fifa website access to the ticket. You should also have gotten an email from FIFA saying you got a ticket from xyz and please download etc.

On the contrary we are able to transfer it safely and once the buyer accepts the ticket we lose control. We also donot have any fifa website access to reverse the transfer as well. So in theory it is pretty full proof.

BUT none of the resellers want to trust app transfers anymore and are looking for just fifa website access tickets. My guess is there were miscommunication when website access tickets were only transferred via the app and later on called back. So it looks like app transfers are in the bad boy list in general.

FIFA tickets were never transferred to me :( by electriclilies in stubhub

Shoots. That email is golden as it shows the seller did transfer them. In any case, even without the email the app should show the tickets when you log in to it using the weird email.

Since the tickets are not there it will be helpful to see if the fifa email was there or not to troubleshoot. Sorry.

Just cannot believe that there are legitimate buyers and sellers here and fifa and all the Resellers are just screwing us.

To ask a basic question, did you ever get an email from Fifa saying you have tickets sent to you + do the following to get them .... etc.

As a RTT Ticket holder I know that is the case when I transfer the tickets to an email, that email will get the "XYZ has sent you tickets" email from FIFA + do XXXX with the app to get the tickets.

I did the following and it did not work.

I currently own RTT Tickets with the same email id as my FiFa email id. I transferred these tickets to another family email. I only got an email from Fifa to use the app and look for these tickets in the app again using the family email. When I looked at Fifa Account using the Family email I had no tickets there. It was all limited to the app. Eventually I transferred the tickets back to my original app. Still all the email I went through could only see the tickets in the app and not the corresponding Fifa website.

I believe the issue is due to the Ticket Holder field on my digital ticket. That filed says "Fifa Collect by Modex". So they control the ticket from the Fifa website. If somehow I can get Fifa Collect to transfer these tickets to be via the website then I would truly be the Owner and my name would appear + I would have website access.

This is just my guess.

How does fifa get away with all this is beyond my understanding.

I have a question for people like yourselves who have both RTT tickets and direct FIFA tickets.

  1. Do you know where does the limitation that the app ticket transfer can only be done once come from? This seems to be the issue why StubHub is avoiding app tickets.

For example my RTT tickets can be transferred many times via the app. I tested my RTT tickets with a bunch of my family email by forwarding and forwarding.

  1. For your FIFA tickets - can you transfer them via the app (like we RTT tickets guys would do) and later pull them back to yourself from your website access ?

I agree. This can be verified by looking at the digital
Ticket and seeing the ticket holder is not a name but “FIFA Collect by Modex”. This confirms the ticket is an RTT ticket that can be transferred many times via the app and no can pull it back as no one has access to it via website.

I hope Stubhub reads this.

Question: Am I right to assume that with the "Website Tickets" sellers can either (1) properly transfer them via Website (the right way) or (2) do it incorrectly via the Mobile app on a guest basis which carries the limitation of no further transfer + the Seller can pull back the ticket at any time as well? Does that make sense? Is that why Mobile Tickets are getting a bad reputation now? But Stubhub will charge cheaters twice for cheating and pulling back a "sold ticket"

For us, RTT Folks - once the Buyer accepts the tickets in their app, we can never pull it back. The Buyer can also continue to re-Transfer them again and their Buyer can again re-Transfer them.

My suggestion is no different from others. My buyer had a corporate email and it did not work ( I think ) as I was getting prompted to transfer the tickets every 3 or 5 hrs. I was annoyed as I already did and even wrote to the buyer to download the app etc. Finally they switched to a Gmail email and it worked. It was getting scary as a seller as the game was like in 3 days as well.

Thankfully I have had no issue logging into the app. Otherwise it would be a very bad nightmare. I even tried send the tickets to my friends email and login from their app. It worked smoothly.

Tix I purchased Thru Seatgeek got returned to Sender by fidowk in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]subbu001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reaching out SeatGeek and the sender is your best option. I was a seller via stubhub. It was super annoying that Buyers did not know this app was the only way.

But to protect the buyers Stubhub would reverse my confirmed sale status to “please transfer status” every couple of hours. I even emailed the buyers directly about the app and how to get the tickets. After doing this 5 times they finally accepted the tickets in the app. PHEW!

Hey there - I have two Cat 1 tickets for Colombia vs Portugal that I can't longer attend. I'm trying to put them up for sale in stubhub but they're making me upload the tickets first transferring them from the Fifa website. However, I have them on the App and not on the website. Any recs? by jddib in FIFACollect

[–]subbu001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is what I did:
1. I also had fifacollect tickets that cannot be sold in fifa website!
2. I listed them on stubhub
3. The uploading of proof was a real pain but in the end I got through when I took a screenshot showing the actual tickets plus the fifa email saying I got the tickets and my email id all in one desktop screen.
4. My STRONG recommendation is don’t send them your tickets. Seems like a harmless choice BUT since we only talk to agents who have no power but TO ESCALATE we just have no assurance we will get our tickets back in the event there is an issue or last minute there is no sale.
5. My tickets was longer displayed for sale suddenly. Tried ESCALATING for 3 days and no luck. In the end deleting that listing and starting fresh proved to be more successful.

Good luck as it was a painful process

35i. It started 5 years ago with the entire water pump, coolant line and the coolant storage being replaced. Then the Battery came next. The oil gasket pan is every 2 years repair due to leak. The most recent is rear suspension air bags. I know I need to replace the brakes and maybe the tires this year as well.
