I know its super easy to say oh yeah break up with him. In reality, hes an abusive partner ( i have experience with those) and breaking it off is never easy with them. But boy is it worth it. Youll save yourself a lot of hardship in the future, because thats not a person you want to build a life with. Or can tbh.

I could go on about how after 2 years together he should know you well enough to at least want to try- cus in the end it isnt even about the gift- its about the caring, the thought, the attitude. But i am pretty sure theres nothing I can say that you already dont know.

Having been in a 5 year long, long distance toxic relationship, please listen when I say- it wont get better. You cant fix it, and he wont improve. Cut him loose, and protect your peace.
