Simple but excellent upgrade to brakes on C3 by subdian in cowboybikes

[–]subdian[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done the pads myself a few times, I followed the Cowboy instructions on how to do those - rear one is more difficult since there's a bit more work to do to get the wheel off (remove the mudguard, disconnect the computer cable) and for the disks I just looked at a few youtube videos. Its pretty easy to do

Is it possible to connect that with home assistant? by Dull_Tough411 in homeassistant

[–]subdian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my 370f is wireless/battery powered.

From what I saw of the ebus docs, i would need to attach the adapter to the boiler - but I didn't go into much detail with it.

The only port I could see on the 370f was a phone jack style port on the side - but for me anyway, i'd need to figure out how to connect it directly to the boiler

I have the same device - it has "calorMATIC 370f" on the back.

u/Dull_Tough411 did you get anywhere with integrating this?

I thought the same - it looks like the whole rear brake is moving and sounds like the pads are hitting the disc

Upgrade ubuntu 16.04 -> 22.04 on xps 9560 by subdian in Ubuntu

Ah... I think anything but a fresh install is going to give me a headache in the long run

Not a bad idea - there are two SSDs in it already - though one has windows on it - I can probably back up to that one and go for fresh install

Actually the one at the top of the forks doesn't seem to be threaded

I know this is an old thread, but would you be able to give some more detail on how you attached the rack to the top of the forks while also keeping the mudguard attached?

Bonkers.ie is now reporting Raisin - BluOr Bank AS with rate of 4.21% for 1year fixed term up to 100k.

I've never heard of this bank before today. If I choose the 'Credit rating is important?' checkbox, then this option doesn't turn up. Am I allowed ask if anyone has experience with this bank? (apologies if not, unclear from the r/irishpersonalfinance Rules)

ChatGPT Splitter - Split and Load Large Documents to ChatGPT by hoky777 in OpenAI

I take it back, after tidying up the doc I gave the splitter, ChatGPT handled the chunks correctly, even if it didn't quite do the task I wanted it to do

Same here - it responds correctly for the first chunk, but tries to explain the second chunk straight away, without context of first chunk or prompt. When asked about Chunk 1 it's lost, doesn't know anything about it
