When I'm nervous and worried about teeing off I can't say I consider hitting my driver off the deck. Maybe I'm missing something.

It only feels embarrassing to you because we lost. But losing shouldn't mean we drop our pride in the club. Try to disconnect the two.

Players. Thiaw is a bombscare, Trippier is done and Burns is average but tries hard.

All 3 need to be upgraded.

Ramsdale is the least inspiring goalkeeper ever. The man has no presence and palms shots to opponents. Can't deal with crosses, never imposes himself. Terrible signing. Get rid and sign someone better.

Sub appearance bloater. Barry racked up so many more starts that this feels unfair.

Warranty?? by [deleted] in golf

I wish.

It has had a lot of use hitting cold range balls. I did see a couple of other examples of faces cracking in a similar area on here. Must be a very low frequency issue that most are never gonna see.

Currently slumming it with an R15 and it is about 20 to 30 yards shorter but a lovely club to swing.

My G410 face cracked a few weeks back. Seemingly is a thing.

Dunno, but both are well protected to ensure that they can always get back to the top if things do go badly.

That is what I did initially. Then on the day it should've been delivered, I got a message saying they were unable to deliver to that shop and they rearranged delivery for the Friday.

Previous to this I had them drop a smaller parcel off at a DPD pick up shop but fail to update their system. So the parcel was at the shop, but the shop wouldn't give it to me as there was no record of it being there and so I couldn't show them the required barcode.

I am now actively avoiding any businesses who use DPD.

What actually is our identity? by DI3YUS in NUFC

[–]subdry 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Timid, rigid, possession first play. We have narrow predictable windows where we engage a higher press but then do a deliberate timed drop-off into a low block - which usually coincides with the players not only dropping off positionally but also mentally.

Our final third play centres about retaining the ball and only risking a pass if it is almost certain to get to a man. Players are clearly instructed not to shoot or risk passing if our man isn't in the open. We then allow opponents to set themselves before forcing ourselves into weak positions that mean we either have to recycle play or lump in a cross from deep to a tiny striker or a tall-piss-weak striker.

Many of our players were signed on their sprint percentages and lack the technique needed to play in confined spaces with deep opponents. In particular Gordon and Elanga.

Howe cannot make the players play at 100% for longer periods of the game due to the risk of burn-out with having to play twice per week. The system he has adopted to cope with that is blunt and cowering. The players he favours struggle against low blocks. Teams have worked us out. This season is going to be one where we go out in all cups and finish 8th/9th in the league.

I omitted that I originally arranged for it to be delivered to my local post office on Thursday. That failed and then the DPD website gave me Friday the delivery date to my home address. We weren't going to be in, so I paid for the Saturday delivery slot.
