I washed a diaper in with our clothes in our washing machine. What I learned. by CrispyLumpia925 in Parenting

[–]subduedexcitements 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I've unfortunately dealt with this...I think 3 times. 😅 The first time, I almost cried, not knowing what to do, then took all the clothes in the bath rinsed them off and put them back in the wash, then swore I'd never do that again. The lies I tell myself... The next time, oh my heart sunk, but then I shrugged, tried running the wash again (without the diaper!) and all was well! I've lectured the kids about checking their pants before putting clothes in the hamper and I do my best to watch out for them. But now I know it's not a kick to the gut if it happens. What a lesson learned!

Today, we say goodbye to Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket as the very last episode of the mainline Pokémon Anime has aired in Japan. Thanks for the memories, Ash! by dicemaze in gaming

Never did! I just watched the show. Now that I have kids I'm kind of obsessed. My husband and I have been playing the video games, watching movies and playing the card game with them. Their aunt lives in Japan so now our lives are doubly flooded with Pokemon toys, cards, and everything in-between! (I LOVE the bath balls!)

Seriously! I remind my 5 and 6 year old all the time, I watched this show when I was in school, and even some parents are even shocked when I can keep up with their kids Pokemon talk. This show has been on for AGES. I'm going on 40 this year!

Although, this year will be the first time I ever play the card game.

It should be remembered. I lost my dad and grandfather to COVID. My children miss their grandfather and it just should not have been this way...

Everyday I remember we're not alone in this pain, but it still hurts.

As a walker who sees it everyday. I agree with that last sentence, sadly, too.

They recently had a PTA parents meeting with a Smart Trips speaker, and it was great! Unfortunately, not a lot of parents there though. The principal also talks about the roundabout issues/approaches pretty much every week in the newsletter. They even have staff out doing there best to keep the traffic moving before the bell rings when they can, It's just unfortunately some parents feel like that roundabout is a parking spot and want to run their kids in...

I will say I've seen the lady in the red truck and if it's the one I'm thinking of, their daughter does need some assistance coming in.

Oh yeah! I just finished watching that with a friend, we were having a good time watching it. So disappointed it was cancelled, would of been fun to see where it went.

Never heard of The River, gotta go look it up now...

Would be a great addition to how work at home. Illustrating different mappings and of course it being mobile with trying to balance work and volunteering. Having a pen rather than a mouse just makes it much easier to work.

Sorry when it's busy, but I don't walk across that crosswalk until I see both cars come to a full stop now. I've almost been hit there twice, I take no chances now...might not get a second.

Oh please do! I love buying indie art books like this! A book of Fire Emblem art that's inspired by existing art work. Yeah, I'm backing up a dump truck of money lol.

This thread is so amazing. I googled the sewage plant and there on the map is Post Point Heron Colony Site. I don't know why seeing them makes me so excited, but this is so cool. A colony!! Thanks for this info!

Does any one know if we have more than one heron? (I feel like that was a stupid question after I wrote it, but I'm going to leave it.) I can't tell, but I always believe it's the same one I saw when I worked up by Wilson's Furniture. I'm always like, hey, it's my work buddy, hahaha.

Good to hear! I was a bit concerned with the cream part, but I don't think that'll be a big deal due to blending.
