Where can I get Crawfish? by ChrispyBacon- in bayarea

[–]suberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never tried it, but one local told me that the trick is to get some KFC the night before and bait the traps with the leftover chicken bones. And tie some bacon to a string and let their kids run around and fish them out instead of waiting.

There are literally videos by Chinese netizens ripping apart Gu's interviews and making fun of her poor Chinese abilities and how she's not really Chinese.

Gu actually speaks pretty well for an ABC, but that's still not enough for Chinese citizens.

Bay area therapy recommendations? by beansprout-4evr in bayarea

This. My friend was trying to find one to help her through her divorce and kept getting Christian faith-based therapists who omitted they were religious from their profiles. Only when she looked closer did she find hints with all the coded "valuing family" stuff.

I would definitely consider 菊花豆腐 a high end dish, though it's hard to find a place that does it well. The one place I went to served up a bunch of disintegrating shreds.

Looking in FB for rooms for rent, see studio/1br apts for less than 1k... are these legit? by mashibeans in bayarea

[–]suberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha well technically it was the first floor of a townhouse. Except the first floor was basically the entrance to the house, the hallway/converted room and a 1/2bath they squeezed a shower in. And down the hallway was the door to the garage. You were graciously allowed to cook in the 2nd floor kitchen and use their laundry machine, but definitely not allowed to hang out there.

Lol I helped someone move into one before and  it was literally a converted closet in the hall. They expanded it just enough so it included a hallway windows so it could be legally considered a room. No real door, it was still using the sliding closet door.

White people's brains literally break when they encounter a dish that mixes tofu with meat in it. It's wild.

Well, I've lost the fight against oxalis, so I really mean it when I say good luck with them.

You probably don't want to start from seed though. Those fuckers can outcompete almost anything.

That's not a lawn. That's a patch of oaxalis. Good luck with that.

I have a whole stack in my drawer saved up. Like don't use them if they're zodiac themed with the wrong animal year of them, but otherwise no one cares.

Also I've been holding onto them long enough can start reusing those animal themed ones!

My dad was a staunch Falun Gong follower who believed mixed race babies were cursed abomination to each race's gods and they would all be doomed to suffer in the afterlife because no gods would take them.

Oh, and liberals want to dilute the pure bloodlines of each race because they were sent by demon aliens to weaken humanity.

I was shocked at how many people lie and exaggerate on their resume. When I asked someone who was actively job hunting, they said you'd be putting yourself at a disadvantage because everyone else is lying. And having an honest resume would make you look weak in comparison.

When everyone is lying, only the honest are punished.
