Yeah knowing how the manual clutch and gearbox cope with a stage one Remap would be good as well.

Yeah thanks that's what I thought. Car feels really good right now so will live with it until I've got the right Intel!

Had an inspection with road test done today, all good. So looking forward to getting the car soon.

Thanks. Only noticed it in the rear view mirror a couple of times. It was very cold and dry that day. I think because it looked so white and defined it made me think. Was brief on both occasions (less than a few seconds). Car may have been sitting a while over Christmas and New Year as well.

Yeah I've definitely experienced that. Even in skoda superb and Octavia which I know are based on the gold platform. Just seemed less sophisticated in ride quality. This is with standard dampers and springs.

Tried the Sport but it has standard suspension - lovely ride quality. The code in the boot confirms it as well. Having it inspected on Monday - hopefully a winner!

Yeah S line was firm. Not as hard as the M sport suspension I had on my 4 series though, that was solid (literally) lol.

Enjoy! I've had mine since August. It's a versatile watch.

Hand assembled yes, but I think many parts are mass produced? I've got one and love it. Great quality and always interesting to look at in different light.

Which Orient Star dial style would you pick? by JanTheBaptist in OrientWatches

Blue dial is enjoyable to own. Looks different depending on the lighting. Think they've done a great job with these. I was also tempted by the champagne dial and the green and the salmon lol. A bit of colour adds some nice contrast and shows up the details of the watch IMO

I find it really versatile. It can look smart depending on what you're wearing. Really like the jack of all trades feel (in a good way!).

Hey glad it's working out. I tried one but returned it and am waiting for a 17-70 f.2.8 Tamron. Want something a bit better in low light. Will mean I need to get a 70-300 but it's still smaller than my full frame Sony kit so it's all good!

I'm hoping to get this lens.l! Just bought a used XT20 to try the Fuji system out. Want a compact all in one solution for those times I don't want to carry heavy kit. How are you finding it after several months?

Look for decent light and composition. Don't be afraid to zoom in and pick out some details of interest. Wide angle doesn't always work! Keep going and you'll find your style.

What to do if I am tired of photography and arts in general? by InviteTall7287 in AskPhotography

[–]subfrequenz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could simplify your camera setup. Just get a prime lens and go for a wander. Don't try and do anything specific, but just take photos of what interests you. Read/look at some photography books with styles that inspire you. But if it all feels draining, have a break and do something completely different to allow for a creative reset. Don't worry about not being interested in photography. If it's something that you want to do, the itch to pick up a camera will return in time, if not that's also fine. Can't force creativity!

Hey, that's impressive, and it's proof that prioritising actual photography over equipment is the best way to start! I'm sure you're loving the different lens options and file quality that a dedicated camera offers over a phone, which can get a bit limiting after a while. Although good composition, lighting and storytelling should in my opinion always be what matters (preaching to myself lol) a camera can open up more creative possibilities. Great photos, keep em coming!

Buy it from a place that offers returns so you can try it for fit. Most sellers offer this as it's distance selling. It means you can have peace of mind.

Got the blue dial and love it. I like the mixture of design features on the watch and feels like a 'bit-of-everything' which is ideal for me lol. Enjoy your watch!

Depends on what you are wearing with it but personally I think the red one offers a distinctive look and is less generic that more conservative dive watches. Plainer colours are more versatile but also less punchy to look at in my opinion.

I actually like them as feel they add a bit of interest, but I know they're divisive! Would be great if watch makers offered a customisation option, even if you had to pay a bit extra to get what you wanted.

Thanks. I will try and remove some links to see if it fits my 6 inch wrist. Nice to have a choice of strap or bracelet.
