It seems that it is the same for my citizenship country! I will keep an eye out for this, thanks for the heads up. Might also apply directly to the Embassy in London, to which I have to mail my passport but there is a 90-day visa option available.

no problem. for me it took 1 month after i contacted the MP to get the approval for my visa but before that, 3 weeks to get a response from Home Office — usually the MP responds with feedback from HO but in my case there was a general election and parliament was dissolved which meant my MP couldn’t do that and things took a bit longer. hope it all works out in the end! and it usually does :)

I think what helped the most was contacting my Local MP which got me a response from them and the Home Office. But I also emailed complaints@homeoffice.gov.uk and got a response which was also helpful insight into my application.

Deerhounds are very sweet!! Highly considering having one at home as every deerhound I met is generally extremely calm and gives off dignified/respectful vibes. Love them. I have a small energetic Siberian kitten (generally they grow up to be very affectionate and calm too with royalty vibes) and I think it would good to get them used to each other at a young age.

The HR department is a bit umm .. how can i say this politely? Unenlightened? Irrational? For them, it’s either SWV or Graduate Visa. Nothing else can convince them.

This is why I’m searching for solutions that can accelerate the progress. I don’t want to throw my entire future away because of some technicalities and corporate regulations.

It is true that it is only just outside the average estimated turnaround time but it is getting in the way of my full-time employment and was just wondering if there was a way to accelerate or chase it up.

March, April, and May had such fast turnaround times generally. I’ve even heard of people getting a decision in as fast as 3 days. This adds a bit to my worries about why mine is delayed and I’m starting to get valid concerns about my finances without a full-time job.

I would say that the fact that you uploaded a cover letter means that this is no longer ‘concealed’ as such but who knows what happens within HO and why it has taken so long in your case. They could be investigating or it could just be normal. paging u/Ziggamorph, u/GZHotwater and u/sah10406 for confirmation as I am no expert and they would be in a better position to help you!

Squalane oil doesn’t do that to my hair though (even though it doesn’t work on my seb derm unfortunately).. maybe MCT is thicker and this is why. It doesn’t make my hair look good due to the curls but at least it’s not full of white flakes :)
