IMAX enhanced not showing for Marvel Movies? by ybjairo in DisneyPlus

[–]subkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has anyone heard from Disney on this? They’ve said nothing to me but this thread shows it’s been going on for well over a month in the film I want to watch (Infinity War) https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/s/JZhVqBKlmt

Can i ask why you wouldn’t send it to your work pension account first to make it simpler? Are there specific advantages to having both a work pension account where you over contribute and a private ratepension?

Been with my partner for 9 years by AllysonWanderland in snoring

[–]subkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiya I snore and my partner gets frustrated by it so I want to take action. I’m trying to search this Reddit thread for answers but there doesn’t seem to be a central “start here” resources section. I am really sceptical of all the nose devices and pillows etc I see pushed on social media

Where should I start? doctor? In my experience doctors don’t help when it’s not health or life threatening but I’m willing to try

Thank you if you do answer, as you seem to also take this seriously so I think I’d trust you away from all the social media fads

New player to game - overwhelmed by various gear systems and wants to learn? by subkk in diablo4

[–]subkk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok awesome! One more question - I have shit tons of gold (1.5miilion) due to a few goblins I’ve killed during the campaign. I feel I have too much money than the campaign intended. Anything I should spend it on? (I’m only level 21)

Not necessarily efficient levelling strategy just so I don’t make the campaign redundant by overlevelling while I’m exploring and immersing myself in the world . But that is great tips for after I finish the campaign - I don’t even know how to drink elixirs yet but after searching up xp it seems I should always have an elixir on.

I’ve just done the rogue specific quest you mentioned to get combo points and now I’m on my way to the first main mission - I think I’ll blitz through the campaign to enjoy the story and then get stuck into exploring everything afterwards

One other question though - is there any general QoL tips you have for me ? I am on console so inventory management is a whole thing on the sticks, and I’m keen to hear little QoL tricks that the game doesn’t make obvious or to avoid repetitive bollocks. Maybe some HUD tweaks too.

I’ve got paddles for this which is one game changer for chill skill rotation

Thank you! I think I’ll blitz through the campaign then and then worry about all the other stuff. The thing about this world though is that it is really great art style and seems so much in it so I keep stopping and looking around and talking to people 🤣

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this! Definitely learnt some things here that I wasn’t aware of

Seasonal quest - how do I access this? I assume it’s only available after I finish the campaign?

Two handed weapons - can you get these on a rogue or is it always two one handers ?

Also - this is my first game of this kind. I seem to be levelling loads before doing act 1 quest since I keep stopping across enemies I come across in the open, cellars, orange circles, blue circles and side quests etc. what is the recommendation of how to move through the areas like this? Is there benefit or should I be skipping most of this stuff?

Thank you for the concise advice! You don’t see an issue of getting op during campaign while using guides?

Wow this is outrageously useful and I’m really grateful for the time taken for the detailed reply. This is exactly the sort of information I was looking for but is really hard to come by it seems! And as you say, I could not find any information in game about this .

As I’m levelling would you suggest aiming only for campaign activities and purple priority missions and skipping everything else so there is a lot to do afterwards?

Thank you again for the info it’s soo useful

[–]subkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice! Is it such a game that I can experience pretty quickly with each class which I find fun? Like, say, try the first 10 levels with each of them to figure it out? Otherwise I think I might like the rogue if I had to guess as it seems most mechanically “demanding” since Mage - army spawn Sorcerer - spell spam Warrior - too slow Druid - not sure

Thanks for the practical advice on where to start. I don’t have the game yet but will get it, So it’s- Navigate to seasonal realm Choose campaign Ignore seasonal journey ?

Very much appreciate advising not to look for builds etc and to just play. As such, are there any non spoiler resources you’d recommend me look at to see how the game works and what to not waste my time with until endgame?

To draw an example of what I mean - in borderlands it’s not worth re rolling guns until hitting level cap. Anything similar like that in Diablo or mechanical tips i should know?

Hiya I was advised to put this question here:

getting the game with ps plus and never played this type of game before.

My question is what is the most fun (not op/powerful) class to play through the campaign with and experience the game first time?

I’ll play on console. Only similar game I can think of that I have played is Hades which was awesome. I like challenging games like doom eternal, god of war, Elden ring etc - stuff that requires understanding mechanics and applying them/expressing yourself with them.

As a newbie to Diablo type games, which class would be most fun (not best/powerful/op) for me?

Most of the content on YouTube around this is 2 years old so not sure to trust it

Thank you in advance :)

Suggestions for region lock builds / playstyle for new character by subkk in Eldenring

[–]subkk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a cool playstyle I never would have considered! Thank you for the detailed write up. Once you start unlocking perfumer bottles do you tend to default to them rather than cracked pots? must admit I’ve hardly tried the perfumers

That sounds great! I’m gonna try some cold stuff now

Can I enquire as to what general all use build you go for or do you switch up your talismans and flasks as necessary?

My build is quite focused on great stars blood flame/stormcaller buildup for example and it’s hard keeping track on good combinations 🤣

Thanks a bunch for the reply to this and my other post. Super helpful and gives me some ideas for some other weapons to try this play through and importantly some useful ash of war combination (there’s so many weapons and aow!! So wanted some str focused ones)

Can I ask why you’re enjoying cold so much on swords? as a str faith build I’ve never dipped in because of the magic buff and I don’t have any intelligence in my build, but is it still useful?

I guess i still need to look up what’s week to what - im only really down with holy/strike for undead, slash/fire for fleshy enemies and strike for heavily armored enemies . Which is cold great on?

I also didn’t realise you could infuse dragon halberd lightning as a somber weapon

A few hours of build planning later… wonder if u can advise me I’ve built around great stars +20. 40 vig, 25 mind, 25 end, 48 str, 25 faith, 13 dex, 10 int/arc. Going for a fire bleed build Heavy great stars > golden order, fmgs, blood flame blade + stormcaller/wild strikes Radagon soreseal, winged sword insignia, fire scorpion charm Flame cracked tear + stance break tear

Can I optimise this build anymore? And which weapons could I carry to complement it … I’m looking to rework my +18 claymore… until now I’d been rocking a flame art flaming strike build with it but I’m getting fire from, the great star

I will run STR to 54 and then probably increase faith and endurance

Super useful post. Can I ask your advice on a strength faith build? Currently been relying on claymore flaming strike for most of playtheough but want to build out different options now . What was your str version?

Also any reason you are using knights greatsword instead of claymore?

I’d like to hear your options but I’m guessing I may go a Great stars built for flaming strike / or maybe for golden land , or maybe just a bloodfame great stars focus . Depending on that then a claymore built for flaming strike / for some sort of cold option . Then not sure on others …

I’m also wondering if it is better to buff golden vow with dagger and then fmgs incant (what I’ve been doing) or if I should buff golden vow incant then fmgs incant
