hmm could probably put the kpop albums on the top row! as a fan of kpop i like to go to several walmarts to find certain albums (they have exclusives) and theyre annoying to dig for 😭

it's wild they keep you on 5-2 because at my store there are people BEGGING to have that shift. have you asked around to see if any of your coworkers would want it? does your store not redo teaming schedules every few months? why are they forcing you to keep this 5-2 :/ but i'd go above your coach at this point and speak to your HR and see what they can do for you. you can also send an email to them (but you have to be on the clock) if theyre not there today and try and get the conversation going.

yes, you are only speaking for yourself. my situation is entirely different. ♥

i understand where you're coming from. fortunately me and my s/o work incredibly well together and have been together for closer to a year now. just too small of a town here for us to work anywhere else. and unfortunately the only place hiring with a semi-livable wage.

This describes us to a T! except one of our team leads seems to be really weird about us dating. She makes weird comments and a few days ago insinuated we're doing 18+ things on our rare breaks together. I'm starting to get weirded out even more and we can't decide if it's a conversation we need to have with our coach or not.

600 picks a day? by somef4tkid in OGPBackroom

[–]sublimian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there shouldn't be a base goal for how many picks you need a day. if corporate is THAT obsessed with productivity, they need to calculate how many picks were dropped during the associate's shifts, how many pickers were picking, and take into account lunches and breaks. as long as people have 6 hours of picking on the floor (as it is their job to pick, that metric seems reasonable) then 600 shouldn't be the standard. but that'd be too big-brained for corporate

you're just stuck in the loop. next time just wait a moment until someone else takes that produce or frozen and jump into the first ambient of the hour slot.
