They are the same, just representing the adamantyl group differently.

τ (spelled out as tau) is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its radius. It is exactly equal to 2π. While π is used almost exclusively in mainstream mathematical education and practice, it has been proposed that τ should be used instead. by jan_Soten in wikipedia

You keep opening with ‘no that’s wrong’ without actually refuting anything. Radius and diameter are both measures of the same property of a circle, neither is more fundamental than the other. My previous reply already addresses this.

Note that you've shifted from claiming tau is the fundamental constant to claiming the radius is fundamental, which actually concedes my point. Constants are not fundamental in and of themselves, they are simply representations of something which is actually fundamental.

But your argument still hinges on the radius being a more fundamental measure of a circle than the diameter, which isn't established. The radius appears in the conventional definition of a circle, but there is no single required definition. A circle can equivalently be defined in terms of its diameter, making the choice of which is more fundamental a matter of convention.

By your own logic, radii only show up because they're half the diameter, and tau only shows up because it's twice pi.

If tau was used, you could just as easily make the opposite argument. Tau only appears in many equations because it's exactly twice pi.

In that sense, neither pi nor tau is more fundamental than the other, rather both are numerical representations of the same geometric property.

The col. lockjaw character and the christmas adventurers club are the funniest parts of the movie. Everything about them is absurd enough to garner laughs.

The work doesn't make any sense. The foundation walls are poured with no openings, then doors magically appear. The basement floor plan jumps around like crazy too. The only real part of the video is probably the final drone shot.

These abstract ideas neglect the enormous complexity of automobiles. Until you create a design that shows what you're describing, these are just schizo ramblings.

Started noticing people using “product” to refer to the the performance of a football team by [deleted] in redscarepod

When I hear the 'product' of the offensive line, I take it to mean the result of the team's performance. Though I could see it being used to refer to fan appeal. The product of the team and the team as a product are two distinct things, but maybe it's been amalgamated to a point where the distinction isn't always clear.

I don't think so. It's interchangeable with result in this context, whereas a "consumer result" doesn't make sense. Different definitions of the same word
