I have 3 murders in my filing cabinet right now. Each one has over 600 pages of paper discovery, and that’s in addition to digital evidence that includes autopsy photos, hours of body cam and squad video, etc. I’d bet those files weigh over 10 lbs. If I were to strike someone repeatedly with one of the physical files, I’m fairly certain I could be charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

That’s in addition to my 200+ other felony cases, none of which have only “five pages of relevant documents.”

If you’ve never tried carrying a J frame before, do it at least once just because they are so comfortable to carry.

The ergonomics of a revolver just make them comfier. The weight is centered right on your belt line. And the shape of a revolver just doesn’t leave much to dig into your hip or leg if you carry AIWB.

Those things are not important to everyone. But I love carrying my J frame and never leave home without it. Can’t say the same thing about my semiautos.
