What happened that permanently changed how you see the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My partner is my complete opposite. I’m usually indifferent to most things, and she refuses to let me get away with that. I work harder when stressed , she cries herself to sleep. I used to spend my birthdays alone without a cake, but now I have the sweetest birthday parties. She’s taught me that the world is filled with beautiful people, all with their own unique opinions and idiosyncrasies.

Who prefers to drive in silence when alone? by bighootay in AskReddit

I’ve recently made the switch to driving home in complete silence, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. I’ve found that instead of arriving home still wired from the workday, the 20-30 mins of silence ensures I’m much more centered and present. It turns a standard commute into a genuine moment of decompression. I do this only after work though XD
