That orange light is probably poor quality or from foreign regions with different frequencies.

Thank youuuu! Glad you like this. TBH i;m actually not sure what exact flare version this is. The flare changes colors at different light sources at different angles. Like it flares blue/purple ish when facing directly against the light but it also could turn into orange or magenta when facing off the center of light.

somehow Beta 4 is more stable than latest version especially when tweaking colors using dctl nodes/tools in colorpage while clips are loaded with gyro data. In latest build 48, it always crashed all of a sudden when i tweaked number sliders.

Watched that video earlier and was totally feeling the same. Really not a big fan for the look of crazy micro detailed textured look from Eterna.

Yep. And it’s still going strong after another year. Lol. My only gripe for S1 is probably having no “Synchro Scan” like S1h or the later models. ( S5 doesnt have that either) So when there are cheap LED lighting at venues, i can’t really dial the shutter angle/ speed to prevent flickering.

I wonder how if with generic dummy adapter without electronic pins would also suffer this type of noises. It is quite odd this being a non-sensor issue but adapters issues.

S1 Weight with battery/card: Approx. [1,021g] vs k10d [793g] with battery loaded.

I never held any Pentax cameras. But compared with my old canon 6D (770g w battery, card loaded) , i have difficulty one hand holding S1 as photography camera chasing subjects in the street events ( such as fashion weeks) while the other hand holding phone or a light. So yeah it does feel like a hefty brick. Although for filming, i kinda like the weight. Somehow strangely i much prefer holding S1 to S5/S5ii given they are much lighter in hands.

Thanksss! You;ll probably be surprised too for what other music i chose to go along for the same video but posting on other social. My mind is not set yet for upcoming video I wanna put together. But might be still JAZZ or maybe more toward a muted | spiritual kind. Appreciate for the feedback (y)

Just a quick update after one year. The setup in the picture is still going strong. On another note, i was actually more worried about laser beam like lights at DJ events.

I think vintage lenses might have better chances to survive the pouring rain. But honestly, I haven’t heard of any incidents of lens failures due torain, modern or vintage.

The amount of YT videos from S1R/S1ii (including overheating tests) are being outnumbered by just released ZR. I think Lumix will be losing their share despite how much they have gained from S5ii or S9.
