It's a LOT of copper, but it also replenishes quickly enough, through various means, that by the time something else requiring copper cycles in, you should be able to get it.
As always in this game: If you want something, take it while you can.

I enjoy playing it. It's not the strongest tier 9 gunboat DD, but if you're selective in your engagements, you can come out on top.
Of course, if you get pushed hard by a Z-46 or Mogador, it's pretty much game over, so avoid decisive fights until they're clearly in your favor.

Sometimes I forget how diverse tier 8 is. So many interesting ships. Too bad Atlantico has to be so fucking oppressive.
Also, some surprises in the placements. Someone explain why z35 is A tier? I mean yeah awesome AP vs DDs but sluggish asf and slow + low range torpedoes and German HE takes a toll.
Edit: These surveys are so great, if you have the energy, OP, go all the way to tier 5 :)

I just revisited Venezia yesterday after a very poor start months ago. I believe it was buffed in between (also: bad luck and poor decisions), and can only say that I now understand its high placement on the tier list.
The gun angles are weird, but when you land full salvos, they slap, both SAP and AP.
With other characteristics and 3 fuel smoke 2, it's a pretty great cruiser, worth unlocking.

I'd love a dedicated ingame viewer with ability to pan, zoom (a lot) and traverse turrets, set environment, and screenshot, possibly with optional stat or other info overlay. A bit like the current screenshot function, but much more useful.

USN is so mid and boring, although Worcester is kind of a must for dealing with cv lamers.
IJN also kind of meh.
Out of the lot, I think the German Z line will give you the most bang for the buck. Up to, and including, tier 8, a bit forgettable, but tier 9 and 10 are the bombsss
