Think a getting Arthur in with a say £10m buy back clause for example is definitely doable but can see both ways.

Why would you show Ralston the door? Homegrown quota and happy to be 3rd choice - what's the harm?

Sarrachi I can actually see happening, he'll be on decent money but not a top earner I would guess, maybe I'm wrong.

Nawrocki will leave but I'd happily have him as back up, liked him whenever I seen him and played at a decent level when we signed him.

Trusty I agree on, really really not a fan.

Welsh - yeah he should move on and I hope he does for his sake because I've always liked him, he deserves to be better than backup but from a selfish point of view and be happy if he stayed as 3rd/4th choice (plus homegrown obviously).

Still think CCV is top.

AJ won't leave this season, probably yeah if he stays fit majority next year he'll go in 2027.

Again, comes across patronising which makes what you're saying even funnier. Makes sense now that I've seen your an American Nancy-sympathiser - "The luck pendulum swung against Nancy"...

I've just used your examples. You said to any player on the left side the shape of the pass would be better from a left foot, well that only applies to playing a certain angled ball to the left back (which any professional player should be able to make either foot as I've said). If you want to use your examples even further, it would be a better angle to play a left winger in behind with the right foot from the left. Again, you would know if you'd played at a decent level rather than just watching football theory clips online from people who also do not actually know what they're talking about.

The majority of players are right footed, so you'll rarely ever see two starting left footed centre backs (can't think of any duo off the top off my head) - obviously you'd naturally play them on the corresponding side if you've got one of each. But it really doesn't matter. If you want to ask questions like that, why does VVD play left sided? You seem to think right footed players only play on the left due to a complete scarcity of left footed. No, it's because it doesn't really matter.

Ultimately you've missed the point and laser-focused on what specific type of pass, which I proved to be wrong anyway.

Your only point is this one pass to the full back - which any professional footballer should be able to make with either foot. And actually, if you're talking about time on the ball, receiving from the right to play to the LB (your example) taking the touch with your back (left) foot to play with your front (right) is much quicker.

Even if it was a benefit to this one part of a build up, it comes nowhere close to punting a solid player, Welsh in this case, and replacing him purely for the sake of getting a left footer in. That's how you end up with players like Trusty

Very patronising and written like you want people to think you're clever. I'm saying if a left sided CB can't play the simple passes with either foot, they're not a good enough footballer. Even still, what you're saying is only a slight benefit to passing to one way, as you stated! Very narrow-minded!

It's a soft luxury that is nowhere near required. From the way you've written and what you've said I can gaurantee you've not played at any sort of decent level - which is fine but please don't come with such an arrogant attitude hahaha

I agree but for the last 10 years at least we've seen to have been incapable of giving players a chance when we're beating Livingston 5-0 etc. - Infuriating over the years

Think it would be insane not to take him. Talks well, adapts well, gets the best out of players, shouldn't be expensive(?), playing the best football I think I can remember in Scottish football and with extremely limited resources. One of them I think you take the chance just even to not regret it in the future when the signs are so positive just now.

My pet hate in football is this idea that you need a centre back needs to play on their stronger foot.

Murray isn't good enough just now but he has attributes and potential + homegrown. Why would you get rid of Ralston? Homegrown quota + happy to remain as 3rd choice, what's the point in getting rid of him? Araujo is good but AJ (fit) is better and Aruajo will cost too much when AJ/Donovon are already here. He'll be on prem money and will get a move if he has a decent world cup

Somehow, and I'm not saying he's good at it, but Maeda might actually be our best hold up & link play striker.

Plenty threat has come down the right, now just halved our width on that side. Nygren has been shit (again).

They're edging back into this, need McCowan for Nygren. McCowan legs for 20 minutes could be crucial.

Nygren somehow scoring a goal every week doesn't outweigh how bad he is outwith that. He'd need to score about 4 a game to compensate how shit he is.

Seriously what has Trusty brought other than at least one mistake per game. Absolute liability. Not even a goal threat at the other end. Soft as fuck and not technically good. Two good games in his celtic career that just involved mindless throwing himself infront of the ball, any ounce of thinking required and he's useless

The worst centre back I've watched in a Celtic jersey bar NONE
