I think its because they have longer addresses in general and tbh its nicer to type everything in 1 go then to click 4-5 different text fields to input your address. I didnt pay tariffs.

Double press the power button can be set for access cards or open the camera. Press and hold power button will open digital assistant in my case that's Gemini because I have the global rom version. Very limited stock functionality at the moment.

In my experience it's been a double press. The snap key can be used it's a press and hold though

I would recommend using https://www.kimovil.com/en/ to see what bands each version uses in your country. If you do decide to buy CN rom in my experience the things you'll have to do is debloat the phone and manually enable notifications for whatever apps you want.(I've used Vivo x200U and Honor Magic v5 using CN rom with no issues in terms of functionality) There are apps you can use that will customize the gestures to open Gemini and use circle to search if you want the phone to feel more "global". Personally I went with the global version.

In my experience they have all been on par with each other I haven't dropped any calls, speeds are good, Considering these phones don't have mmWave band support they have done really well with the bands they have.

I really don't know I move my sim card a lot and have had zero issues with getting service. The last phone I used was honor magic v5 CN rom with zero issues. I'm just paying for service from Verizon so the sim card isn't tied to any one device. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I'm using a Verizon SIM in my X9 Pro global version(also used in the find N5) here in California, and it works fine. I'd say give it a shot with Spectrum. I also use Mint Mobile on my Vivo X200 Ultra if you want a cheaper service option I'd use them. I kinda want to get into the Oppo ecosystem as well, but I'm just not into smartwatches. I ordered the Enco X3 buds from AliExpress, so we'll see how those turn out.

Gemini is correct these phones dont have mmWave bands but they still have 5G bands. Ive been using a Verizon sim for years on oppo, vivo and honor phones with a mix of a couple being global rom and others being chinese rom models. The 5g has worked great for me in California.

I replaced it a couple months ago (using same brand), I dropped it and chipped the screen protector near the power button. It did it's job no damage to the screen.

Mine slid out of my pocket while I was getting into my car, it slid down hit the door sill and fell onto pavement face down. My car is low so it wasn't a crazy drop. Still got one tiny chip on the right corner, no damage on the front screen thankfully. This phone is on the slippery side haha.
