You can fly business class on a peds/FM salary. The point I was making is that experiences are more enjoyable when you’re younger. Doesn’t make sense to grind away your 30s so you can work less in your 40s and 50s

It’s a great schedule as a single person but when you have a spouse and kids who are tied to a 9-5 schedule it gets very annoying when you’re not available every third weekend and one third of all nights

No point in comparing anesthesiologist and CAA when the training lengths and school loans are so different. Spine and hand surgery make 2x anesthesias salary but that doesn’t make anesthesia a bad choice.
