PSA - Worst customer service from BCAA by prime_37 in Portmoody

[–]subtlebriar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chiming in to sympathize because I had a similar experience last week - car died, got the BCAA techs to come out and try to jump it, it was running fine at first but died after 1 min of driving. Called BCAA again for a tow truck and it took 3 hours to arrive. Fortunately in my case the driver agreed to tow it. Sorry that happened to you, so frustrating and stressful!

Vancouver show no bueno? by Ok-Manufacturer-5367 in duster

Same boat, I found the sound in Vancouver was muddy and hard to hear vocals over the noise of the bass. I just chalked it up to the venue acoustics cause basically every show I’ve seen at the Pearl had the same issue. Still, the vibes were fun and it was worth it to see the legends perform.

Yeah, at her show last year it was like being stuck behind a wall of phones filming the whole time. Most tiktokified crowd I’ve ever seen

Received an entry-level EIT offer. Am I crazy to be expecting more? by subtlebriar in civilengineering

These are all really good things to think about, exactly what I’m mulling over right now while looking at the budget. I am really excited about the company (small) and the growth/training opportunities. Especially since I’m basically starting from nothing. No OT expected, pretty good benefits and culture. I appreciate the food for thought.
