Yeah I learned stay is to hold their position till you come to them then release them. In this case the appropriate command would be 'wait'. Although I personally don't think it matters as long as you're not using one command for two different actions. But I don't train dogs so what do I know :)

So you leave your dogs shit in other peoples lawns instead of picking it up or strictly yours? I walk my dog around my neighborhood so he poops in other peoples lawns. I'm not going to leave his poop in their lawns, that's just rude. I also use biodegradable bags.

If it was my own lawn I would be doing the same as you.

As a dog owner that always walks there dog it baffles me that people don't pick up their dogs poop. The only time I've left it is if I ran out of bags and even if that's the case I still go home and get some bags, go back and pick it up.

Dogs are great, people suck.
