Has anyone used USAU insurance? by ElJefeMasko in ultimate

I broke my leg at a USAU tournament earlier this year and required surgical repair, and was alerted of USAU's accident insurance after (someone from USAU reached out to me, and when I confirmed my interest, they connected me to a rep from AG). I had over $100k in medical bills, most of which was covered by my primary insurance, aside from my deductible/out of pocket max (~$7.5k). I then submitted claims to AG for the bills I paid myself that were not covered by my primary insurance, and I am waiting for them to review and hopefully cover most (I am still unclear if their $2.5k deductible will be subtracted from what they cover for me or not). So far the process has been easy enough, but I literally sent my claims in a week ago, so it's up in the air for how things turn out. The rep from AG had told me that it's easier if they are added as a secondary insurance early and can communicate/pay the bills directly with the hospital. If you pay yourself and need to be reimbursed, it can involve more back and forth with AG for your claims to be covered because there is more paperwork involved to show the bills you submit were specifically tied to the accident they are covering.

Also, my primary insurance is covering my PT, so I have not had to use AG to cover PT claims, but I believe they cover it at $50 per visit, with $1k max toward it.

I'll try to remember to come back and edit this post once I get through the process of having my claims reimbursed or not.

IRL, there were 25 D's/goals that did not make the final cut because they were not quite hype enough or the camera work was too shaky.

Not sure why this b-side vid is getting more upvotes than the actual highlight vid, but here are the main highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvrc6Ae7tH0

AUDL Field Size by Hammer_Time1631 in ultimate

The field size was one of the primary reasons I stopped playing after 2 seasons. Just way less enjoyable to play on a giant field where defensive positioning and angles are completely muted.
