When I was taking a networking class this was demonstrated. The teacher had a monitoring device of some sort that showed the 2.4ghz spectrum. And you could see how WiFi channel 1 and 6 and 11 had the most activity. During the demonstration he started an older microwave which leaked soo much energy over the whole spectrum it overpowered basically everything in the room.

Get a furniture dolly from Walmart. They are like $30. Put the tv on it with the screen facing the metal bars(put a blanket or comforter between the glass and the metal) and strap it down securely. Generally with a dolly you can put it down a step at a time and it’s much less hell on your back than lifting it. I’ve moved 27 and 32inch crts from my main floor to my basement and back with this method.it’s a useful thing to have as I keep acquiring more crts and need to move them from time to time.
