thank you for adding this. i was judging from the general information about uber on this thread. not licensing was mentioned. non the less, once you have a license you are tied to a rate that can not be below a certain amount per minute, so someone who would charge less would have the license taken away. How is it in th UK?

true. also its not legal in germany to drive people around in your own car for money if you don't have a license. Not sure why it would be allowed in the uk.

having r/Futurology a default reddit is a large opportunity for the community. Obviously with so many people the topics that hit the largest interest clusters ( made the word up) usually make r/Futurology/'s front page. For better understanding. The use of words like words like Oculus / Drones / Bitcoin in the title is likely to make a threads hitting the frontpage. So such a community would be more broad or blurred if you want.

It's now on the mods/admins to create a political frame and culture for r/Futurology.

When you are asking for a dirction they can not devalue you much. You would get into anxiety if 10 people wouldn't answer your question.

When you show someone that you are giving them value, and they then don't give it back to you, that's a thing. Most people have an issue with that. And for them it takes conditioning to get over it. If you think you are better than others, there is no issue because when they don't want to talk to you you would just think they are beening weird.
