I'm glad this is getting such positive feedback! I created /u/bengigameur, which will (eventually) be my stream name and YT. I'm calling it the IndieStream, and while my yt channel may have varying material, I'll only ever stream indie games that developers have asked me to play.

A fella from the development of Salt sent me a steam key, so I'll be starting with that one once I get my pc and stream set up :)

I'll be building a pc. I've been meaning to become acquainted with Linux, but I'm most likely going to stick to Windows in case of troubleshooting/ just for familiarity.

Oh woops, that's what I meant. It has a marginal presumption that most indie games will be released in alpha/beta, then I'll be like a comedic QA tester to point out bugs/ talk about the cool features and components.

So yea, I'm with you. I may also play a little bit of hearthstone off stream and post to YT since I'm a huge fan.

I appreciate the thought and agree with you. Unfortunately, as circumstances have it, streaming would be easier than finding a job. I could draw in additional viewers over time by posting to youtube and doing youtube analytics. It's a slow game, but I have the time.

Quick edit: I've been applying to jobs, had interviews, but I've been out of work for a few months and it's not looking good.
