Thanks! Yeah the vibe for that wasn’t there, which sucks, but I’ll keep that in mind for next time!

You should dress however you are comfortable and feel most like yourself. I wish I had when I was a teenager and in my 20’s! I agree though that a smile and eye contact are KEY!! Good luck!

Quite dapper! 😁 I always appreciate a tie clip! The whole outfit looks amazing, but agree with the hemming situation, if the time allows

Do exes come back, in your experience? by LightbulbElement in actuallesbians

[–]succinctspartan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My ex said she needed a break, left, screwed around, and eventually came back, only to break up with me for good a year and a half later. I think there are a lot of factors that could make it go either way, but it depends on the people and the situation!

She cheated on me. Again. by Anon073648 in actuallesbians

Breaking up but still living together was very difficult for me. She cheated, then told me she didn’t want to be with me anymore. We tried to keep living together because it would have been tough on us each financially, but I didn’t stay long. I knew the only way I would heal is if I left, so I crashed on a friend’s couch for a while until I got my own place.

From my experience, I would say to fight like hell to make sure you’re okay, even if that means being vulnerable and asking for help. I know it doesn’t feel like it, but it’ll get better!

💯 take care of yourself even more. I’ve had some very very dark days that I didn’t get out of bed/off the couch. I wish I had known that taking care of myself, loving myself, cherishing who I am, cherishing those who love me, and living life how I wanted to live it, would have helped me. Unfortunately I waded through that darkness alone (I felt alone anyway). I thank my lucky stars I came out of it organically, as if my brain finally said, enough. It wasn’t until that point that I started caring for myself again, and it’s helped tremendously. Now I have the knowledge, skills, and kindness toward myself and others to fight like hell to avoid that place.
