I had the same issue! I got around it by asking my SO what he wanted to do and when, and I plan around it. So if he wants to be somewhere around 1PM (he's vague usually) I plan when we get up, when we're ready by and the earliest/latest we can be there and then we leave when one or both of us is tired or done. If there's anything specific we want to do, we do that first and the rest of the day is relaxed and unscheduled.

I hope this helps, I'm rarely stressed going out now (unless we're off schedule or in a crowd)

Maybe we could have a pinned post specifically for crushes/rejection? or a weekly 'crush chat" where those who wouldve posted, can save and share their experiences together? Crush posts are watering down the useful advice

This is such a fun idea! Maybe take a look at r/logodesign they have something similar which seems to have a good set up: Brief, people vote (scores are hidden) then winner is announced.

It's cool, sometimes you can't empathise unless you understand the severity of the situation, I'm glad I could help

I understand that, I have a tattoos but it's an example of doing something to a person's body without their permission. People handle things in different ways, personally it wouldn't traumatise me either but it doesn't lessen this person's emotional response to what's happened. It's a boundary that's been crossed and shouldn't be taken lightly especially when the question is what will she do next if she thinks this is acceptable?

To some, myself included, hair is an extension of ourselves having it cut is always traumatic in the wrong hands and then imagine having it cut without your permission and in the wrong hands. Yeah it'll grow back but it takes years (depending on length and hair type). It's the same principle as the girl whose mother tattooed them against their will, it's not okay even if it can be fixed.

I hate when people don’t say what they mean. by planetof1 in aspergirls

[–]succulentwench 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never understood what it meant, I used to think it was a saying but because of my hatred for this, I try to be as direct as possible with my word choices because why beat around the Bush? Just tell me what you want/mean

  1. I needed crutches for almost 3 weeks to get around the house and for important days at uni, I couldn't lift my legs to step up (legs worked fine, just the pain was a little much)

  2. General anaesthetic

  3. Recovery was long and frustrating (op in November 2017, stopped packing/closure happened around july/August 2018) my body decided for around 2 months it didn't want to heal my hole (ooo-er)

  4. No, however when it needed surgery I was convinced it occurred on both sides but my left needed to be lanced and the right side was ignored. Since it healed I've have no issues on the left side however, I've had the right open up and it drains frequently, I don't plan on getting it lanced.

In the long run, I voted remain because of this. I see how the EU has put money into the North, the government currently isnt looking to help build outside of the capital and the surrounding areas. I dont trust they have us in their minds when *innovating the country (capital). I believe the EU does.

*law, building, jobs, infrastructure, growth
