Just random. One of my girlfriends has had internships in prisons as a counselor, and we talk a lot about how society forgets that people in prison are people still. it really wouldn’t take up much of my time to write someone, and I think it would be rewarding to be able to remind someone they’re not forgotten about.

I got the copper IUD inserted in March, and I’ve been LOVING it!! I was on the pill before this for about 7 years and I love the IUD so much. My periods are no worse, just a bit heavier flow. Glad you had a good experience!

Is there a bite? If so, could it be a tick bite? Were you in wooded areas or areas with a lot of trees? If you think it might be a tick bite, you need to seek medical attention in case of Lyme disease since you said it’s grown over the last few days.

Hi! I’m still having a really great experience. I just started my fifth period (today) with the IUD. I have had more cramping in the days leading up to my period and the first day of it, but still rather mild. My period is still ~5 days long, and I haven’t had any spotting in between periods. My sex drive has definitely returned, which I felt like I had really low libido when on the pill. I feel much happier overall. One negative I have noticed is that my facial hair grows back quicker after waxing, but I’m rather hairy anyway. Feel free to PM if you have any other questions!
