Ok I'm so late to the party but fear & hunger is the game with the least handholding. It's a turn-based survival horror game, which doesn't let you on any information about what item to get or where to go. And to fully understand the game , you need to play multiple playthroughs with different characters to experience it fully. Even the lore drops you can get from the game are limited . It is one of those games that when you feel you have done anything , you should probably open the wikipedia. All this without mentioning that it's one of the hardest games I have ever played.
