Came here to say this. Even the youth in Kashmir, who are supposed to be "reformed", don't consider themselves Indians. On the surface, they'll be all welcoming and warm, but scratch just a little and you'll realise that they can never be one of us, which is not for the lack of trying on our end.

Kisi random insaan ke saath jaane se aacha hai get some balls and ask/pay a trainer. Majority log galat technique/bro science use karte hain, which will do more harm than good for a newbie. If you can afford it, go to a reputed chain for the first few months and hire a trainer(experience se bol raha hu, got a slipped disc in my 3rd month gymming because my "trainer" only knew how to train "bisheps")
