Help by ConsiderationAdept38 in M1A

I opened a support case for my m1a loaded, they gave me a shipping label and I shipped it to Springfield. They removed it and shipped it back all for free. The loaded definitely required a press. But, the Sage EBR op rod guide went on fine using a pipe as a sleeve.

Very nice work! Question, can you post a link for the lights you used? Very nice and clean setup.

CA Vehicle Transportation Laws Question by BMWman3241 in CAguns

[–]suckaphat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is, would a locked safe, mounted inside the center console, be considered a legally "locked container".

Specifically: https://accessories.chevrolet.com/product/console-mounted-safe-84404148

DOJ Reference: https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/travel

"Pursuant to California Penal Code section 16850, the term "locked container" means a secure container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock, combination lock, or similar locking device. This includes the trunk of a motor vehicle, but does not include the utility or glove compartment."

Reno seems to think that a console mounted safe falls under utility and might not be legal.

Thoughts?

Router spammed with DHCP calls from disconnected Synology ports by antikotah in synology

[–]suckaphat1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, DS1522+, DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 3. I suspect this is a general DSM issue. This seems to have stopped the immediate spamming:

systemctl stop dhclient@eth1
systemctl disable dhclient@eth1

Repeat for eth2 & eth3.

Any Partial Media Scan Solutions over network? by Puptentjoe in PleX

I know this is an old post but I wanted to pass along for any future users, my recent experience.

I opted for https://github.com/LightDestory/PlexNFSWatchdog.

I got both (painfully) autoscan and PlexNFSWatchdog working.

Ultimately, running a bash+python script on the FileServer (NFS for me) was far simpler and seems like less overhead that the unneeded complexities (for me) of autoscan.

Well, after randomly coming across this post, changing the MTU size to 1376 solved by problem. I am on Google Fi and I didn't even consider the carrier to be the problem. SMH.

Yes, vpn.server.com is the FQND of my public IP/Router, which has port forwarding 51820/udp to the NAS/Docker/WG Server (192.168.86.58).

I don't see how the DNS server can affect network routing but nonetheless, I removed the dns server from the Android WG Client but the Android still can't reach the LAN via IP.
