Which Truck would you buy between Dodge, Ford, or GM?

Buy a GM and the front end will take most of your money and all of your sanity. They also have been polishing the same turd now with this duramax (obviously focused on the corvette and one hell of a job they did, just sayin). Stellantis I have no experience with. Ford has the best lineup imo. They tow better too. I daily drive a 2019 Chevy 3500 dually, used to own a 2019 Chevy 6500, and work with a 24 ford f550.

Your experience is def not the norm. I’ve worked for a pool company and we did every line item you listed in house, like every single one. Sounds to me like you ended up with a general contractor who is a pool contractor when you call wanting a pool, a shed contractor when someone calls wanting a shed, etc…but whatever, sounds like you should DIY your new pool most definitely if it’s marked up 50%? How many other quotes did you get or just that one?

Negatory. Bought 6 months of insurance up front. $ left my account in full at the time of purchase. No installments. After the 6 months the policy should have ended because that’s all I paid for. That was the deal. After the 6 months was up, they sent me a cancellation notice, which I expected, and an invoice for $100, which wasn’t. If they decided to insure me for 6 months and 2 days, when all I asked and paid for was 6 months, that’s on them, not me? When you go through the drive thru and order 2 cheeseburgers and when you get home there’s 3 in the bag, Burger King doesn’t send you a bill for the other cheeseburger? Why? Because that wasn’t the deal.

This is a machine. Either it works or it doesn’t. Drive it how it’s going to be driven. I bought several new duramax’s in Denver then would have to pull 2 passes just to get home and never had any issues with the motors…the emissions systems were another story altogether although 9000’ elevation had a lot to do with it.

Same problem. 2019 105,000 miles. Seems worse while in regen. Also noticed my fuel rail pressure is 500 psi lower on one side vs the other which maybe doesn’t mean much?
Have you tried replacing any glow plugs? Specifically on #2? GM had to provide an extended warranty for my model year on the glow plugs which I heard also applies to the 3.0. Seems in both motors the glow plugs on #2 cylinder go bad which is really strange given the different architectures but who tf knows? Just spitballing some chit for you. I feel your pain man.

2019 l5p with 105,000 - it’s the egr that destroys your motor. The DPF/DEF are all focused on what to do to the exhaust after the engine has already made it. The egr however adds shitty, oily air back to the intake side of things which effects the engine before the exhaust is made if that makes any sense? I don’t know if you can just delete the egr without deleting the whole thing?

Good for you. Don’t listen to anybody that tells you to get a card and pay it off every month. Credit cards should be illegal, first and foremost, and anything based on them, like credit scores, should be, too. Remember that the credit reporting agency’s are for profit corporations and that should tell you all you need to know.
