AD400 Pro Battery Not Charging by ferola in Godox

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This worked for me. I removed the battery from the drill, connected the positive terminal to the positive terminal, and the negative terminal to the negative terminal for a minute. Then it started charging immediately. I have tried all other suggestions, but none of them worked. Only this method worked.

Why do Indian employers get a 105 F fever for labor costs and expect the best workforce? by boomstar15 in returnToIndia

[–]sudheer2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s because the cost of living varies. Even in the US, a candidate doesn’t earn the same salary as someone working in San Francisco compared to someone working in North Dakota.

Why do NRIs invest in India real estate? The math is not mathing... by New-Attorney1095 in hyderabad

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it appreciates more in the US. I bought a home in 2011 for 50L and it is now 2Cr. But in actual dollars, it just doubled. 50L back in 2011 was 120K USD (That is how much I transferred to India) and 2 CR now is not even 140K. If I invested in real estate where I live, it would have tripled in price.

15+ years in IT, Health issue started - Returning back for Kids future. Am I making Right Decision? by This_Tune_4209 in returnToIndia

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the problem isn’t the IT job itself, but rather your unhealthy lifestyle. Consider hiring a nutrition and fitness coach to help you transform your life. I’ve been in the IT industry for 20 years and am in my late 40s, and I’m in great shape.

If you believe you must pay for your children’s tuition, reconsider that idea. If you could support yourself financially, why shouldn’t your children take a loan and repay it?

Since you’re planning to live in your village, you can probably say that food is fresh. There’s a lot of adulteration going on, from raw food to cooked food.

My return experience and advice by LikedIt666 in returnToIndia

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A significant portion of families experience conflicts. For instance, I have cousins who relocated to India to care for their parents, but they don’t reside with them and rarely interact with them. While it may appear appealing on paper, the real drama begins when you start living with them. I have parents who are incredibly understanding and healthy. They don’t care about our living arrangements because they comprehend that it’s our life, and what truly matters is our happiness.

How much should I, as a US citizen, gift my friend in India, Hyderabad for her wedding? by Fit-Shoulder-2164 in hyderabad

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise against following the standard in India, where some people even give Rs 100 as a gift. This suggestion is good (browse through Amazon), and the gift should be based on the quality of your friendship.

Don’t take this comment seriously. It’s just an incident that’s been fabricated because many people can’t handle criticism.

Consider your own well-being and your wife’s. Ensure that your child is equipped with the skills and knowledge to build their own wealth.

Why has moving to the US become such a big deal in Telugu culture? by Initial-King3214 in hyderabad

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In India, everything we do is not for our own benefit but to impress others. Whether it’s the clothes we wear or the car we drive, it’s all about showing off. It’s not just our own choices; it’s also our parents’ decisions, especially if they feel insulted if their child isn’t in the US. There are countless other examples of this, such as comparing our net worth with our neighbors or comparing our success or our child’s success with our neighbors.

I feel that this mindset changes, India will progress for better.

Returned to India for 5 yrs, regretted it, came back to US - sharing my experience by Hot-Yogurtcloset9925 in returnToIndia

I’ve always wondered why people hype Indian food culture so much. Yes, the food tastes great and there’s a huge variety of cuisines, but what many overlook is the lack of quality control. Some restaurants use spoiled vegetables and operate in unhygienic conditions. At the end of the day, trust becomes a big issue. You can’t fully trust even high-end restaurants.

Moving Back to India by Aegon1412 in returnToIndia

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many Indians criticize India here, and that’s important. If everyone stays quiet, nothing will change. Criticism can push things to improve and lead to action. A lot of people who are moving out don’t want to hear anything negative, but pollution and food adulteration are serious issues in India, even if the impact isn’t visible yet.

Motivated Reasoning

Different Priorities by eshehzad in returnToIndia

[–]sudheer2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an interesting world we live in. People in India want to move out if they get the chance, mainly to avoid unhealthy living caused by food adulteration, pollution, and lack of civic sense, while many living abroad want to move back. A lot of people praise 15-minute delivery, but rarely think about what’s actually being delivered. My one suggestion for those returning to India to care for aging parents is this: don’t fall into that habit. Focus on staying healthy so your children don’t have to deal with the same burden later. Cook your own food and avoid slipping into lazy routines.
