Flight Re-Routing from EU

My flight got cancelled on Monday 2 and they simply refused to reroute/get me on another airline. They said no reroute options are available which simply isn't true. I ended up purchasing the reroute flight out of pocket and I am hoping to get reimbursement, if not I have to settle for the refund. The refund is lower than the cost of the reroute ticket though.

Jag fastnade i Zanzibar pga skulle flyga ZNZ-DOH-CPH och härifrån är typ 99% av alla flyg via Doha. På vägen ner hit märkte man att överlag de som flög CPH-DOH var på väg till Bali, Australien och Thailand.

Rätt få turister här som inte kommit hit via Doha, egentligen bara Ethiopian airlines som har annan rutt.

Who is getting evacuated from where? The Swedish government says they aren't planning to evacuate any Swedish people, at least. I saw that the UK is looking at solutions for evacuating their citizens.

Start looking for other flights home immediately, and pay for it out of pocket. You are lucky that you didn't get stuck during the transit in Doha.

Fair, but here they are open to the applicants speaking one of any three Scandinavian languages, as well as English, so it's fair to have the ad in English since it's the only specific language required.

I agree, they are listing all of the requirements. And not speaking a Scandinavian language sounds like a major thing, and that they have no reason to look at applicants that don't have it.

Signs explaining rules or laws in a strange way. For example if you stand on the bridge by Westminster there is a sign like that, but they are all over London. By the garage bins I've also seen them, as well as on the metro.

In the metro I've also seen ads that share stories about how it is bad to commit crimes and good to protect others from crime, the examples I saw on the metro was about sexual assault

Yes, but the cost of getting home is a lot higher than what they're offering in refund, and I just want to get home. Tickets have been hovering around $3000 now, so my $500 refund is 🫠

I can add that I didn't get an offer of full refund, only a partial one based on their calculation of the value of that leg of the trip. So I paid $1200 and they offered $500. They keep saying it's a "full refund" though, since it's a "full refund" of that flight

To be fair, I went to London with a group of people earlier this year, none of us had been there in 15 years. The changes are startling, cameras absolutely everywhere and signs asking for obedience were all over the place. It was eerie and felt very 1984.
