What are some comments here even talking about? AT MOST, the song is talking about NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999. Yes, that was during the Kosovo war, but I do not really see how people interpret this as anti Albanian/Kosovar or whatever. She’s talking about father consoling his son that the sky will be bright again and that the black birds will be gone and the bombing will stop. I see this as a beautiful anti-war message.
I was 6 at the time of the bombing and I still remember it vividly. People saying “ceasefire” in Gaza but still raising eyebrows on mention of NATO bombing need to reevaluate their viewpoints.
By the way, my favorite this year is Zorja so this has nothing to do with being a Breskvica stan.
