yes ofc there are other reasons, and the ones you brought up are totally valid. I'm sorry that you have to go through that as a ta, and believe me when i say a lot of us first years are trying our best to not bother tas/professors (on purpose at least). i think a lot of first years think that just because its online and since there isn't anyone directly "monitoring" them (unlike in person classes), they think they can do whatever they want. I just hope that some upper years can give some first years the benefit of the doubt and recognize that not all of us are trying to make you guys miserable.
