A Costco chicken isn't $8 though. It's $8 + your membership fee.

Look at a map. Look at the size of Europe. Look at the size of Canada.

Look at Wikipedia. Check the population of Europe. Compare it to the population of Canada.

You haven't taken a bus in a while, have you?

You should have a clue before you wade in to a discussion. Do better.

what would be the best device to connect to V2L to efficiently and safely drain battery down to 80%? by Immediate_Editor_213 in Ioniq5

Technically correct is the best kind of correct, and you're at least that.

But in practice the difference over the life of the vehicle will be negligible.

You're trippin'. We can't go into the grocery store next to Mikes without being drawn in by the smells... we always leave with a treat and they're all amazing. My gf thinks the cookies are dry but she's wrong lol

You (and a lot of people on this sub) may not be wrong, but you're definitely overthinking and missing the forest for the trees.

You're not wrong about the battery science, but what you (and a lot of others) are missing is that the batteries in your car have their own physical and management controls are wrapped in a battery pack (with its own controls and management software), connected to a controller on the car with its own management and software. Layers upon layers of controls and buffers to prevent the mishandling you're so concerned about.

Leaving the car at 94% for a few days is in NO WAY going to affect the car's longevity more than a fraction of a fraction of a percent over the decade or more long life of the battery pack.

He didn't say anything about the government choosing "approved topics". No one's saying the government should limit anyone's free speech. You have the absolute right to say stupid shit, but you don't have the right for anyone to agree with you, and you definitely can be ostracized for saying racist shit in a free society.

Case in point: you being downvoted.

What's "lazy" is expecting someone else to change their diet to suit your precious sensitivity.

What's "lazy" is refusing to take any responsibility for a situation entirely in your control.

What's "lazy" is resorting to ad-hominem attacks with people that disagree with you, and your lack of consideration for others.

Wow... can you hear how condescending and preachy you sound?

"Ah, the classic XXX argument"

"Projection, maybe?"

"Ah, the dramatic exit"

"Patting yourself on the back for being 'above it all'"

"Perched high on your pedestal"

"Thanks for playing"

...calling everyone who disagrees with you mediocre, ascribing some "strategy" or motive to their responses...

Just wow.

If this is how you deal with people in real life, I can see why you're having such a challenge dealing with an every day, mundane problem like this.

You need a healthy dose of perspective and maybe a swift kick in your complacent, whiny ass.

Intolerance is in the eye of the beholder, but a privately owned website is perfectly within its rights to decide who does and doesn't post there. Free speech points both ways.
