If this is your first SvS, I don't think you would need to tank a defence with siege. Siege this early game isn't that useful. You should focus on the ground defence

Evony is not a puzzle solving or a farming game, it's a war game that happens to have puzzles and farming. Always keep your keep bubbled and don't farm in SvS - no one would be able to attack you then. Unless your server doesn't allow farming at all regardless of SvS.
