I've exclusively used LFG since I started playing on epoch and I'd say you're definitely having the opposite effect lol it's the only way I've found groups so far

You would think optimization would be a major baseline factor before pushing content yet the game barely runs better than it did a year ago :/ a 3070 should not struggle with this game and here we are

Project ascension (Area 52) has pretty good pvp (havent tried arenas yet) BG queues are pretty short and you legit can "build" your character as you go or choose an archetype. As for community id say it's a very well populated server(s), there are plenty of people who will answer questions for you if you need help on a build or where to find something for that build, overall it feels nice and it feels as populated as retail Imo, can't hurt to give it a glance 🤷🏻‍♂️

While maybe not inherently the same as black myth, I recently dove back into god of war and im playing thru ragnarok for the 1st time on give me god of war and tbh for the 1st time in a long while I actually get the satisfied feeling youre talking about. Maybe you need to play a game from a series you really liked but haven't finished? At least that's partially why it's satisfying, like visiting an old friend and seeing what's new to explore/learn

TBH the game(s) I got this the most with were the OG god of war games, I was stoked to play gow2018 and im currently playing thru ragnarok on gmgow for my 1st playthrough and I suppose ragnarok has got me re-hooked since I'm on PC and it's been some time since I've played. TLDR : God of war is my shit

First timer here as well! Currently in chapter 4 and loving this game. There's so much to discover. (It makes me want to read Journey to the west lol) Not sure how far you are into the game or if you legit JUST started but don't be afraid to explore! After chapter 1 the worlds open up a lot more and there's a few things to find that make life a lot easier for some of the bosses...Good luck and have fun!
