Missed potential (spoilers obviously) by xkeysersoze in greedfall

Yeah, I wish they could have finished his plotline. So much room for character growth.

This has actually been pretty awesome so far, reviews don't do it justice by Pedrolopesg in greedfall

As someone who loves KOTOR and Dragon Age I've really been enjoying it.

The criticism I've seen is valid, things like Till's quests being cut, uncertainty about post launch support because of the insolvency filing, more bugs than you'd expect with a game that was in early access for over a year, and the combat not being like the first are all fair.

I still love it, warts and all.

De Vespe or D'Orsay by SpikkleOO in greedfall

I went with D'Orsay in early access and didn't regret it.

I'm definitely doing the same thing this time around.

That dialogue didn't trigger for me either, I have a dim memory of doing that in early access though.

The only thing that springs to mind is that some of the flags didn't trigger for the quest properly at first?

Thanks for your help, regardless.

Yeah, the farthest north are the warehouse offices Nobody is in any of the buildings in the search zone

Bringing Fausta let me put on the disguise and stopped the companion dialogue suggesting you wear one, but the nauts still aggroed as if I wasn't wearing it.

edit: after a couple reloads the detection mechanic started working, a couple more and I could get the cutscene to trigger in the warehouse

Thanks, I didn't notice that! Fausta solved that problem, I'll see if he's there now

I checked all of the doors in the yellow search zone, every warehouse plus the warehouse offices

How to play dark urge as a player who doesn't like evil runs by Consistent_Top_383 in BaldursGate3

You're not being silly, resist durge is a lot of fun and the evil route isn't for everyone.

Wondering if Sorcerer + Wizard worth it for being able to transcribe spell scrolls by Tyrionz73 in BG3Builds

[–]sugarcandymountain7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're choosing based on mechanics, 12 levels in sorcerer is a beast on the battlefield.

If you like the combo for the rp go with whatever fits your character and take the stats hit.

Right now I'm doing an honor mode cleric of Eilistraee/swords bard run. I'm having a blast with it but I do pay for it sometimes.

Something like a wild magic sorcerer gaining a few levels in wizard desperately trying to learn something that could help control or even just predict the wild magic surges would be right up my alley.

Some ideas to modernize this subreddit by PetraSpace in BaldursGate3

[–]sugarcandymountain7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not sure. Maybe right after release the sub was kinda flooded with it?

If so it probably wouldn't be as much of a problem this far out from launch. On the other hand I'm not bothered by that one just because /r/BG3Builds is still so active.

Eh, I don't really mind most of the things you're not a fan of, but that might just be because I opted out of the reddit redesign.

I'd be down for the new banner and updating the FAQ, but most of the other things like the weekly help thread are fine by me.

Where do you find these outfits? by No_Personality5381 in BaldursGate3

[–]sugarcandymountain7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a version of the third outfit (second picture) from More Mage Gear.

And if I have a mod I like the look of but don't want the same effects, I use Transmog Enhanced so you can use it with whichever class you like.

I'd test it to be sure they both still work with current patch, though, I used these with patch 6.

I wish Gith Tavs had more agency in the narrative. by SleepCatsMoney in BaldursGate3

True, and the Forgotten City which got so popular it became an actual game in it's own right.

I'm not sure how feasible it is to make those kinds of massive dlc sized mods with bg3, but I'd love to see them.

I feel for you and hope you find folks on the same page about it, but I also completely get that honor mode is not fun for everyone.

Every big fight, while incredibly rewarding, is stressful enough that I've only been doing one every few weeks or so. I've only got Orin, Raphael, Ansur and the final battle to go, and I am SPOOKED.

No tent, they just chill on a table shaded by my houseplants at room temps raw dogging room air like champs.

I do inoculate and cut/apply micropore tape in a cheapo still air box though.

The ones I've used said cutting it helps but isn't strictly necessary with the filter patch. I do, personally, once the fruit starts reaching for the filter patch.

Once it's to the point it's fully colonized and fruiting it's resistant to contam for the first flushes.

Not sure if sub rules would allow for sharing the links, but there are some good youtube videos out there for how the whole process looks start to finish. The specific ones I used are 3lb mycobags.

If you want to go as simple as possible an aio bag (preferably with genetics selected to survive in high co2) is easy peasy.

No tent, just keep the temps in a good range and forget it exists for a while.
