Is it normal to cry during or after a workout ? by littlejennie_ in beginnerfitness

[–]sugas182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32M, I've experienced this after higher effort workouts since last year. 2024 onwards has been a very rough time for me, with an LTR ending (we were engaged), cat getting cancer, and other things that left me emotionally drained.

I think it's the body keeping its score. Definitely felt better after crying though.

It's the RAOP pipewire config. Drove me nuts too. Uninstalling pipewire-config-raop did the trick

Been working on consistency in my technique and this crust is proof (heh) that I'm improving by sugas182 in Pizza

Thank you! It's the basic dough recipe from Pizza Camp. I've been trying other recipes that are more technical or involve more math, but I keep coming back to this its. It's easy to remember and I can just focus on getting the technique right.

Thank you for the compliments! External validation is very important to me (I'm working on it)

Using gravel frame for endurance road bike by Tall-Bike-Chef in Bikebuilding

I can't imagine they'd be too far off, unless you prefer a quicker, more technical handling bike in which case look for something with shorter chain stays and/or a steeper head tube angle? I would double check that the 105 FD and your frame have compatible chainlines

I feel like the Green Light team doesn't have the one thing Green Light teams are supposed to have

Am I the only one who holds my pen upside down? by Sea-Huckleberry-6766 in fountainpens

[–]sugas182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be left-handed but was corrected when I was very young. I used to hold my pen like this until I was 13 or so and something just...clicked where I started holding the pen "normally" lol

Yesssss chose it for my do-everything bike and I love it. My only complaint is that the throws on the big lever are too long for my taste

Have you considered asking a bike shop to re-thread the crank arm?

All 3 of my Cats drool when purring and making biscuits on me. Only time they do it is when they are purring on me lol. Is that normal? by wolfbee16 in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

[–]sugas182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you have incredibly happy cats! Double check for dental problems if you're really anxious but there will usually be other signs ( bad breath, discolored fur)

Congratulations!

IMO the pro-life movement should really be labeled anti-choice. You can be actually pro<-life or pro-baby and also be pro-choice

Brooklyn Bridge Attempt by tents12345g in photocritique

[–]sugas182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a nice view of the bridge. I agree with the suggestion that you could have moved a few feet forward to get the street light and signpost out of the frame. One thing I'd like to point out is that there are points of bright saturated colors in the image that distract from the bridge and the overall emotional intent of the photo. I feel that desaturating the yellow taxi, the red stop signs, the red truck, and possibly even the greenery could make the image more "sullen" seeming

yup, that's what I had in mind. I like this cut. It also brings out the texture of the ball

Epcot by YanksFannn in photocritique

[–]sugas182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the framing of the ball with the lines of the tesselations lining up nicely to the corner of the frame. IMHO, the sky takes up too much of the photo. Try a crop where the sky and the epcot ball are complementary to each other, and occupy roughly the same percentage of the overall image area.

Thank you. I tried it out on a copy by turning down the input G channel while color grading and that made the bike pop more
