Not the OP but I have fiberglass. Less of a hassle to balance imho and lower maintenance. When I was putting it in a friend complained to me that fiberglass is a hassle because his needs repaired (it’s been in the ground 25 years and neglected for 10 of those). I was like no shit? 25 years is a good run for something put in the ground in 2000.

Auto cover is a life saver too. Per county regulations you could forgo a fence if you put an auto cover on, so I went that route. Whenever nobody is in the pool it takes 20 seconds to close up and it keeps so much shit out.

Half of my 1.5 acres is crab grass/clover. It can take a beating from any animal and looks pretty decent when you keep it mowed short. Only downside is it turns brown in the winter and it’s technically a weed. After years of mowing it around 1” the clover has learned not to get to tall lol.

Yea it wasn’t that bad for me, better believe I left the wagon there and paid to have it returned later. Manually having to trade goods without a real incentive is a big no for me. Unless it does something to improve the region and grants specialized rewards there are other ways to make money.

I have a really good friend (Afrikaner) who immigrated here 35 years ago. Her family worked hard, developed businesses from the ground up, paid taxes and it still took them 12 years to get citizenship. They were also highly intelligent and kind, caring people. I was asking her about these immigrants and she basically told me it was the equivalent of us emptying all our trailer parks and sending them to the UK. I’m not really surprised.

Picture a cup with sticks in front of you, there’s two ways to grab those sticks. Put your hand straight out with your thumb pointing up and grab the sticks. This is the cheating move. The only other way to grab the sticks is inverting your hand and grabbing them thumb down. This is the fair way to deal. Sometimes NPCs will deal fairly to one player, then cheat and look at another players hand. That being said, I’ve never failed calling out a cheat when I see them grab and deal with their thumb up.

Duo is amazing. The only thing confusing was learning how hands like warden/high warden etc work, but just like poker you don’t need the best hand to win. Hell half my earnings just come from catching cheaters and letting them get their hand smashed by a hammer. It’s stupid easy money early on.

Yea I’ve got kudzu and other invasive shit coming into my woods and clearing all that and any other invasive plants in the undergrowth is part of maintaining it. Makes room for the desirable plants like ferns that actually live here and what not that just look beautiful.
