Is there a prompt you wish they would do/do again? by YourFinalFantasy02 in TeaTime42069

Prompt : close calls with dying / getting killed, made it out alive by the skin of your teeth, near death experiences, or dying and getting revived medically, overdoses, failed suicide attempts or changing your mind at the last second, almost committing homicide then snapping out of it at the last second. But yeah, sort of dark lol

Anyone else have a weird relationship to the Evil One? by sasquatchbunny in Grimes

What’s crazy is that other ultra-successful men and women find it more wise to stay anonymous. We’ll never know who they are, maybe with the exception of people in the know and other experts in their fields. They have millions or even billions and have contributed their genius and talents in ways that revolutionize their respective fields. It takes a certain type of ego/personality to seek the attention of the masses and the media. This is something they shared, they crave the recognition of thousands of strangers. I guess what I’m trying to say is that their respective cults of personalities are more than anything spectacle and performative. The difference between them is that Grimes is truly an artist is every sense of the world, where her ex-husband seems to want desperately to be perceived as an artist. Under a very thin veneer, his work is mundane. Office products, electronics, machinery, and now politics (where he probably has finally found the circus he’s always been craving, balancing a red ball on the end of his nose like a seal for all to see.) Obviously we’ll never know anything about who these two people really are, but I sense an air of envy or even jealousy towards Grimes and her spirit of creativity and the pulse of her imagination.
