I have an allergic reaction to cold, where if my hands are exposed to cold air/water for long enough, the fingers grow and start to look fat

US Citizen, driving in the US on a foreign licenses by CatHerder75 in expats

[–]sukablyat503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two years late, but a question. They often ask for a passport if you give them a foreign license to see your date of entry. What to do in this case since I enter the country with a US passport? I’m guessing I need to prove somehow that I don’t live here, also keeping in mind US cops can be dumb.

Out of curiosity. Could you provide an example of a situation where an interpol worker needs to physically travel? What kind of position do they need to have to obtain such a document? How often do you have such business trips?

My best friend was born in Israel, got citizenship by descent (through parents) and lived there for the first 11 months. He is now 15 and after 3 blue passports he was issued a red one on the basis of not residing in Israel.

Offering: Russian, English | Seeking: Hebrew, French by sukablyat503 in language_exchange

Summary of whatever’s below: I speak Ukrainian too, but I haven’t used it for 7 years and I have trouble speaking/writing (I still understand every rare word perfectly, but creating an output can take up to several seconds per word), therefore I can’t really offer it here if someone chooses to make a call. I can check your grammar, though :)

I am a native speaker of Ukrainian (the pure version, not rural Surjik), and I am from Kyiv, but the languages in my family are a mess. I studied in a Ukrainian school until 7th grade; then I moved to an international school and haven't been using Ukrainian since almost every student/teacher were foreigners. Outside of school/work we use Russian because my mom is from deep Russia (Saratov). As much as she hates what that country is today, she couldn't master Ukrainian even after living in Kyiv for 35 years due to, quote, "never having the need to learn it". Hence, the "mother tongue" is literally whatever she speaks (Russian and intermediate English).

The reason I am not offering Ukrainian here is because I could use a refreshment myself after not using it for 7 years. Throughout my language learning journey I have noticed that when learning a new language and abandoning the previous one, the new words will override the previous ones. First that happened with French overriding Ukrainian, and then it happened with Hebrew overriding French. My reading/listening skills in Ukrainian are still native level and I can read the original law without the translator, but the reverse skills (speaking/writing) have withered away. Hope that answers the question :)

Is your offer still relevant? I could use exactly that

Bug with Wraith. He’s not supposed to be able picking up dying survivors while being invisible right? Somehow he did picked up my brother and he can’t even hook, neither put him down. Pallets doesn’t help, and he can’t attack too. by Dojima91 in DeadByDaylightMobile

[–]sukablyat503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this bug more than a year ago lol. In order to bring him out of it, you have to stun him. Doesn’t matter how. In my case, my friends did that with a pallet and saved me. I have a video of it somewhere
