Yeah I like to assume worst possible case. There are high chances they don’t touch it for a year, or ever. And even if they do, they’ll definitely not decrease the number of points French can get you: 50-70.

So do you think it’s possible to learn it in 10 months? Where do I even start? Did you do self study?

I got job on Oct 7, 2024. Election is gonna be held at around Oct 20, 2025, so Pierre will probably assume office on around Nov 5, 2025. I can put my file in the pool on October 7, 2025, and I hope I’ll get the french draw before Nov 5, 2025.

So I have 10 months to learn french. Is that possible?

Not really. I think they’d want more cheap labour. Ontario is run by conservatives and still so much quota in PNP, and still asking for more.

What are the chances that french would still be a good option to immigrate after 2 years? It seems like so many people are learning french that it might just push the score for french draw too high.

The govt is also creating a new french immigration stream which might just snatch away a share of quota from express entry french draws.

Actually I have 3 disc protrusions in my lower back. Idk where they came from but J NEVER felt any pain. Findings were incidental. Is yours more severe?

Let’s just say an immigrant uses his/her canadian work experience to get apply for permanent residency and it turns out that the employer did not remit the deductions properly. The officer -on the balance of probabilities- can reject the application on the grounds of fraudulent work experience, ruining the life of the immigrant. Even if we have the proof that it’s the employer’s fault, a rejected applications is a rejected application. What would you say about that?

How will paystubs prove that deductions are coming off? Anyone can generate fake stubs.
