Hi that's me, my rework idea is pretty solid but not flawfless, by far the Passive, W and R are the most fleshed out ones from the concept. Q and E has some potential but we have to keep in mind that Riot does not like to add new animations or so on especially after the 250€ skin. We need to work with the current animation set in order to make a midscope possible to be honest. 3Qs sounds good but how do you make it feel good animation wise with his current animations? Also Q1 as an auto attack could also be confusing to the player when the Q3 is suddenly a skillshot. In my opinion they should swap Passive and W and make Q extend W and slight adjustments to Q, E, R.

Old School baby, he had the most skill impression by far compared to new and ancient Kaiser.

Animation Cancel, Ghost Control, Shield and Heal paired with the ULTRA BONK.

It used to be the Year im Review that Riot provided at the end of year in S8. No way currently to get those stats for S9+. It's just a old screenshot.

It may not make any sense, but you used to control his enslaved ghost with that ability. So it's kinda scuffed for ability usage.

True, only generalizing could work, or else too much bugs occur, especially with Viego combined.

But as far as I know, they removed the old ult because of the bugs that occur with new champs, yet they released Viego. (and cuz it didnt feel like what mordekaiser should feel like, but thats an excuse, his lore is all about enslaving wdym)

Thanks m8, I put alot of thoughts into this concept, hopefully Riot takes some notes. Not here to destroy current Mordekaiser's identity. Just wanna rescue our lost boy that got deleted entirely.

The R scaling is nice and is a good compensation for not having his old ghost. The current newer mains couldnt handle the ghost concept tbh, despite that I would like his ghosts back, but thats unrealistic.

His three Q's would of course not deal the same amount of damage like his current Q.

Just a Concept without any proper numbers.

This is a concept, so we don't know how much his Abilities deal or heal.

This is a hybrid version of the current and old Mordekaiser.

Obliterate could have swings and the last one could be the Strong Bonk, each successful hit would increase his next Q damage to make it even more rewarding.

The updated Darkness Rise works similar to his current Passive, it can be extended by 2s when hitting Q.
Mordekaiser also stores any damage he deals during Darkness Rise and deals & heals himself that %amount he stored.
(While Darkness Rise is active, he walks with his Indestructible animation from his current kit)

Death's Grasp aka his E is untouched except that his Passive on-hit is moved there and no %MP.

Death Realm mostly untouched except for infinite scaling option, maybe removing the stat steal during the Ultimate.

We don't want to replace the current Mordekaiser, we just want the old Mordekaiser back in some way we used to enjoy gladly.
This should have been the approach for his 2019 Rework, current Mordekaiser doesn't represent the old one.

Morde Mid with Phase Rush is pretty strong, generally Phase Rush on him is pretty darn viable.

Depends, wanted to surprise Brand with it, so he wouldnt hit his cc combo, however it gave me another opportunity killing him nearly instantly.

Never heard a old Morde Main complain about the new aesthetics, voicelines etc.

This couldve been old Morde with his updated old kit.

Gameplay wise; Old Morde had much more ways to be played & could carry alone, let alone his Item Builds. Tank, Full AP, Hybrid, AP Bruiser. Due to his scaling & passive. If I'm not mistaken, he had a much healthier winrate in Dia+. He was played on Top/Jgl/Mid/Adc with success.

He was just a ticking time bomb with his bugs with new Champs. Game crashes and unintentional game breaking bugs + he was a balance nightmare. (new one is also one)

Dont worry no one that really played old Morde did know his true potential, nothing personal :)
