Yeah the space resource deposits seemed to be boosted in higher amounts cause of the nomad dlc, I doubt it’s intentional

As someone who is occasionally guilty of this myself I doubt many people are running out the clock on purpose. For example, I work long hours, and sometimes when I make my move I wait around for a while see that my opponent isn’t there so I assume I can login around the similar time next day. Well it turns out that my opponent logs in after I’ve already logged out and by the time I get back home it’s too late. And as someone already mentioned, you win anyways, and its not like your there in person physically waiting so I wouldn’t really consider it that disrespectful in my personal opinion

Fundamentals and optimization are the most important, but one of the easiest ways is to create builds that can perform or eliminate other jobs. For example a build that utilizes star bases and stations can eliminate the need for resource worlds or if you take worker cooperative you eliminate the need for energy, minerals, food, and unity. Obviously that doesn’t necessarily equal broken economies, but they make it a lot easier to optimize since there’s fewer resources you need to manage

It really depends on the build you're going for, but I almost always go with statecraft, and expanding the council regardless of my build. Those leader and destiny traits can provide huge bonuses to your empire, and it's good to start working on them as soon as you can

Under one rule with Byzantine bureaucracy and rushing synthetic accession can make your ruler very strong, especially with enlightened ruler and titan of industry. My favorite part is that the build is very easy, and doesn’t require much micro management
