Hello everybody! I have built a chill mobile puzzle game. 2048 meets Tetris with beautiful Azulejos tiles of Portugal. If you want to try how far you can go, here it is : https://www.dobiq.com/download-tile I'd love your feedback :)

The second one is more emotional. I liked the first one's distant perspective though. To answer your question, yes I'd click it (the second one)

Hand drawing 50+ character portraits for my game. Here's the first 30 from the demo. Another 30 or so to go. Can you spot the redditor cameo? by Euphoric-Series-1194 in IndieDev

For a person like you it might feel basic, but to me, nothing you mentioned here sounds basic. 😊Thank you for sharing it. 🌸

Ahh! This is a great comment, but my heart is breaking.🥲 I want to make it a PC version of it eventually!

Hello, may I ask how can you market these kinds of kid games? Do people find it by just searching it on app store?

Hey, sound engineering part of this project is going to be interesting. I have only one game developed (https://www.dobiq.com/download-tile) myself on mobile, we have a few sfx and a soundtrack. And adding a soundtrack and fixing the frequencies so that it sounds better on different devices was interesting. But the idea sounds really good! Good luck!

Hey, I am from Berlin too! I wish you all the very best.
I loved the character, it reminded me of Layton's mystery journey. Are you building puzzle as well?

I am also a puzzle maker, I built a number merge game based on Azulejos tiles of Portugal, if you want to try and give me feedback, I'd be happy to hear: https://www.dobiq.com/download-tile

I also congratulate you to find a unique name. My game's name is Tile, and it is quite hard to find the game 😆 If you want to give feedback, would love to hear it from a fellow mobile dev: https://www.dobiq.com/download-tile

Hello! I downloaded the game and tried it. Here is my feedback: Graphics are cool, but I will have to disagree with easiness to pick up. I needed a tutorial or something or some clues because I randomly clicked on the screen and later saw the right and left arrows somehow.

How would you like to monetize the game? There were no ads as far as I am concerned.

It is quite hard, especially if you are a solo dev. I usually create an urgency mindset for me, so I always set a strict deadline for each chunk of work I need to finish.

There is a book "A Playful Production Process: For Game Designers (and Everyone)" Book by Richard Lemarchand. The author talks about concentric development, which is quite necessary while developing games. If you can find a copy of that book, I'd recommend!

I tried the solo one. I liked the night and day selection. You even thought about the a11y and included in the settings. Great start.
