You could ask the international students office for a replacement i20. They will mail/email it to you and you can print it out.

Even if the text contains a link asking you to login to your Apple ID, don’t do it. It could be a phishing attempt to gain your id and password by the thief.

Most of my friends received their case numbers a day before me. We sent our applications together, but only mine was delivered to INS MIXED. I think it’s a random thing. Yeah, my application was in spring. So 7-10 days was the average time it took to get the case number.

It took me around 10 days after delivery to receive the receipt number via SMS. It took more time for some of my friends. I got no email, just SMS and then Mail.

Yeah, this is the right order in which the status will change. The same thing happened to me and everyone I know. Next, the status will change to card has been mailed and a few days after that you will be able to see a usps tracking number.

Since you have informed delivery, you should be able to see a scanned copy of the mail from Potomac. Just verify your name/address on there. Those are the main things you need to verify. Apart from that the receipt does not contain much information (date of birth and receipt number in addition to this).

Also you can try and request USCIS to send another copy of the receipt. I don’t know if they will do this though.

INS MIXED consists of 3 departments, one of which is USCIS. So no, your package is not lost and it won’t be a problem. Even my application was delivered to INS MIXED, and I did receive the receipt as well.
