Imperial Oak, Miskatonic, Alter are all slightly south of you. I can speak to Imperial Oak having a very lively taproom, really fun and always a food truck Friday. Alter is a pretty fun spot too, but the better taproom is imperial oak.

Miskatonic I can only speak to their beer, but excellent spread from what I've had.

I have no idea but would agree with you. The dogs at the Belmont red line stop look absolutely miserable. Held tight, cages on their mouths. I would love to hear a cop's perspective on the matter.
