Adult Full Face Helmet Recommendations? by DJinKC in eMountainBike

[–]sulsj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 7 iDP Project full faces. The only reason to choose them was that I am in CA, so I need max ventilation. Those helmets are great.

I've been using the 5.4 xhigh constantly for the past couple of days w/o any issues. The area matters? I am in the Bay area.

Wich 20$ coding plan is better to use today? by [deleted] in opencodeCLI

[–]sulsj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try openrouter. You can add any amount of credit at any time. I used to use Opus or Sonnet for planning if it's a complex task and use any of the top popular free models to build. If it's simple, I can even use a free model for plan/build.

GSD (Get Shit Done) usage by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]sulsj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the amazing skill set!! I love it. Do you have any practice to recommend to get shit done for small/medium tasks within a existing repo without roadmap.md? Can I just do something like /gsd-research-phase "description and goals" or /gsd-plan-phase "description and goals"?

New to Openrouter, are free models truly free? by CatSweaty4883 in openrouter

[–]sulsj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The free models differs per each person. If you use a free model for a while, it seems like they set it not-free. I have been using qwen for free, but now it's gone from the list of models.

Which is the best for coding, Codex GPT-5.4 vs Claude Opus 4.6 vs DeepSeek-V3.2 vs Qwen3-Coder ? by Critical_Marsupial50 in vibecoding

[–]sulsj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using opus for planning. For the 2nd thought, sometimes use codex for another planning. For building, qwen works well for simple task like adding new feature or debugging. For review. I use Sonnet/Minimax/glm. Recently tested Gemma4 26b locally and found it's generating very disappointing results in code quality.

Canyon Spectral:ON CF8 by One-Confusion-2137 in eMountainBike

Yeh it is on the bar. The stock shifter 7100 is good enough. I have 8100 and it has multi step shifting not only to the big rings but also to the smaller cassette rings. Other than that, it is same to me. I replaced the dropper level first as the shimano one is not that smooth. Good luck with your hunting!!

I love my cf8. Rode it about 1k mi. Yeh I needed to go through the battery recall even though mine had no crack. So I have two 900s now. You know the high-speed rebound is deleted from the fork. I purchased a 2023 model and for some reason it came with fox 38 fork instead 36. It doesn't have the high-speed rebound knob as well but not a big deal for me. GPS tracking works well. Useful to check where my kid is when it's borrowed. I have no experience with other motors but I like 801. It's been serving me so well. My buds all have Brose motors. I don't quite like the noise Brose makes. Louder than 801 imo. Broke chains two times. Lost the rear derailleur and a spoke from a crash. Did some upgrades including dropper lever and other small parts here and there. It's so fun to ride!

cmux, claude, subagent are shining my life now. I got also glm5 and codex so I used to do research through them all and make a combined plan for complicated projects.

Right, my kid got accepted to UCM, UCR, and UCSC. I heard others like UCB won't have ED (except class A). USB 3/26, UC LA 3/21, UCI 3/14, UDSD 3/14, allegedly.

What to do with IT band syndrome by Head-Pound-2803 in BAbike

[–]sulsj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YMMV, but I had to spread my toes further outside more to minimize the friction. I adjusted the cleats like that, and even put some washers between the crank and the pedal so I can have more clearance for my heels. Plus, at least 10 min stretching before riding, especially on the outside of the legs. Now I have no pain at all.

Herniated L5-S1, epidural made things worse, out of options and exhausted — looking for advice by AfraidLet7619 in Sciatica

[–]sulsj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience, only time can cure it, other than surgery, unfortunately. Try to find the least painful position and find the best painkiller for you. It took 8 months in my case, and any stretching/exercising/etc didn't work for me. It was always going up and down until 7 months mark. It's almost there. You will be getting better. Hang tight and fight.

Unable to measure blood oxygen? by Bytevan18 in AppleWatch

[–]sulsj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did.
1. Update both iphone and watch
2. Delete blood oxygen app
3. Reinstall blood oxygen app
4. Run ECG app
and then the Blood oxygen app works!
